I am a Rhodesian born and bred. I moved to Australia where at the age of 18, and having gotten my drivers licence, I went illegal racing on a road out side of Gladstone (where I was living at the time). As usual, in time, we got caught by the local boys in blue and booked. This taught us two things: 1st, keep a better lookout when doing illegal things, 2nd, and most importantly, was to find a place where you could do it legally.

This started my interest in racing, however, with work I couldn't compete in all the points score meets and thus didn't get anywhere with the yearly championship.

I then moved up to Townsville in 1996 and started racing up there, but with other commitments I wasn't able to make it out to the track on a regular basis until 2000.

In 2001 I was able to make every race meeting and became involved in the track even more by working there (a commitment that I still carry out to this day) and was able to get "runner up" for the championship for 2001, a feat that I haven't been able to achieve or better since.
 
In 2003 I bought a new '03 gixxer 1000 and raced that for a while, but got side tracked by stunting and have been into the stunting scene ever since. However, I still attend the drags, work there as a scrutineer, time keeper, track worker etc, and spend a lot of time helping and encouraging riders with there racing.

I have one rider (Martin Kildey) who I have been tutoring and who is especially talented. He has competed in his first full year of racing this year and won the championship (2005 - 2006). This season (2006 - 2007) looks like a big year and I have been encouraged (read as pestered) to race for the championship this year myself, so I have decided to do so. I didn't get off to a good start - I've only been able to finish round one in the first meeting of the season, hopefully though, New Season = New Luck!

   Current race bike :- None (put a conrod through the block earlier in the year doing a wheel stand). I usually use my stunt bike when I race at the moment, but at 13 flat at 108 mph its real fun to race.
